We had double digit weather this past weekend and it was such a pleasant surprise! It truly felt like spring. I was saving this look with white jeans thinking I could wear it some time in April. But I took this opportunity to throw it all on earlier than expected to enjoy the outdoors. I’ve never been so excited for warmer weather!

A pair of white straight leg jeans were on my wishlist since last spring. I just love a crisp white wardrobe item and I’m not afraid of potential stains. It just means being a little extra careful while rocking a fresh look. I was so excited to see new styles added this spring to Aritzia’s Denim Forum line (and now in multiple lengths!). Because I already have a pair of the Arlo Straight (see it styled here), I knew exactly how they would fit. They are made of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, so they have an ample amount of stretch. And because of this I knew I’d prefer a size down from my usual size 25.

I was so pleased with this decision – they fit like a glove right out of the package, and after a day of wear have stretched out enough to fit comfortably. These have a 28″ inseam (the white isn’t offered in a 26L) and I cuffed them once with this outfit. I’m still deciding if I want to shorten the length or keep it as is.

For the rest of the look, I stuck to a light colour palette to coincide with the airy vibes of spring. I can’t stop wearing my Frank and Oak long cardigan (I also styled it another 3 ways here) and I think it pairs so well with this overall look. I also think this monochrome white base could work well for all seasons with a simple shoe and layer swap. After all, white jeans work for all year round, imo. And its addition has contributed so well to my goal of curating a timeless and almost season-less wardrobe. I think I’ll get a TON of wear out of these.
