Hi friends! I don’t think I’ve shared a post like this before, where I roundup a bunch of my favourite outfits from a particular season. Although I’m still working on intentionally curating an ideal wardrobe for myself, I’ve come to really love a lot of the pieces in there. And my summer wear is no exception this year – it makes me so happy!
I find the summer season the hardest for me to style since I love layers and knits and boots and all the cozy feels. However, this year I’ve really come to appreciate my ultimate wardrobe essentials. A simple tank or t-shirt really goes a long way. Call me boring as you won’t be seeing any cute summer dresses or skirts here (I’ll leave that as a priority for next year to hunt for).
Summer isn’t over yet, so let’s bask in what’s left of it and go over some of my favourite summer outfits!
P.S. If you aren’t yet following me over on Instagram, I post (almost) daily outfits on there – it’s where I share most of my love for style and clothing + re-wearing what you already have, and where you’ll see all of these outfits posted within the last few weeks.

These linen pants are a godsend, especially during the heatwave we experienced this year. I love how easy it is to reach for this pair to create an effortless look. Paired with a t-shirt (regular or cropped) and I’m good to go for a hot summer day.
Cropped T-Shirt Outfit

Cropped T-shirt – TNA (sold out, similar) | Dress – Kotn (sold out, similar) | Sandals – L’intervalle | Bag – Vintage Fendi
Based on the last few outfits, it’s clear that I’ve grown a love for cropped t-shirts this summer. Loose fit, no tucking required, and goes with high waisted anything. They’re just so easy to wear and are in the form of one of my ultimate wardrobe essentials (a t-shirt! See how I styled it in a pink version). Here I paired it with a ribbed midi dress to create a cohesive monochrome look. The extra layer also adds warmth up top for those milder summer days and evenings.

Surprise surprise, my most worn piece this summer appears to be a trusty tank top! Whether in a high neck or ribbed form, these are just easy, effortless summer pieces that can be dressed up or down as you please. I recently added the Aritzia Sculpt Knit Tank Top to my closet during their summer sale, and I love how it dresses up an outfit. And you really can’t go wrong with a soft, 100% cotton Kotn top.
Linen on Linen

Shirt – Power of My People | Shorts – Maison Simon’s (no longer available) | Bag – A.P.C. | Necklace – Able | Bracelet – Mejuri
Last but certainly not least, the most breathable summer outfit you can wear has to be one that consists of linen on linen. A white button-down top and a pair of shorts is really all I need on a hot summer day (and perhaps a crisp glass of white wine, too!).
