I had so much fun with this one! Before the craze of Black Friday begins (although it feels like it’s already started!), I thought I would put together a “Gift Guide for Her“. I’ve curated a list of intentional gifts under $100 full of goodies that I think any special woman in your life would find extremely useful. If not all, I think you’ll find at least a few from this list that would make great purposeful gifts.
Many of the items listed here are ones I already use and/or wear and absolutely love. I either use them on a daily basis or wear them almost on a weekly basis, as some are quality pieces every wardrobe needs. Other items have been confirmed as useful from gifting them to friends/family, and the remaining are currently on my wishlist.
Some of these brands already have their BF sales going on, so perhaps you can make use of these discounts way in advance of the Christmas season!
Some links used in this post are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you decide to make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. My intention will always be to inspire you to get creative with what you already have and to help you create an intentional wardrobe with quality pieces you’ll love for years to come. Thank you for supporting Her Simple Sole blog!
Tradlands Monty Turtleneck
$84 USD – currently on sale for $79.97
BF sale – 30% off all markdowns with code BF30; and don’t forget for all other times, my code hersimplesole15 gives you 15% off your first order
A fall staple of mine – I have it in both the black and storm in XS (storm is an old colourway; both gifted). Featuring a boxier fit and a non-restricting neck, it’s truly a beautifully crafted turtleneck tee. I absolutely love a good turtleneck top since it’s so versatile during this time of the year. It can be worn on its own or underneath an additional layer for extra warmth. See how I styled it 5 ways in this fun little reel.
If you’re unfamiliar with Tradlands, they’re a small business focused on slow fashion and feature timeless, well-made essentials. Their Shelter Cardigan is a classic piece that so many adore – it’s included in my fall 2022 capsule wardrobe and I can foresee it being in my wardrobe for many, many, years to come.
Under Armour Meridian Joggers
$75 USD/$85 CAD
My favourite joggers of all time. I have them in both black and purple in XS. They are so soft and stretchy, yet holds their shape. I also have another pair of black in the shorter fit and wear them to the gym all the time. They’re so versatile for when I’m lounging around, working from home, running errands, or when I need to work up a sweat. Pants that can do it all – I’m here for it!
Everlane The Relaxed Oxford Shirt
$85 USD/$133 CAD
I know this is > $100 in CAD, oops! But still worthy of mentioning since it’s one of my favourite wardrobe pieces!
Another wardrobe staple of mine, included in my fall 2022 capsule wardrobe. I think this was one of my first Everlane pieces, and it did not disappoint. Made of 100% organic cotton and so comfortable to wear – I wear size 2. I love that it’s a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down, worn open or closed. The options are endless! The pale blue shade makes for a really nice statement + a pop of colour. See how I styled it 3 ways in this reel (I’m wearing a size 2).
Poppy Barley The Accent Belt
$72 USD/$85 CAD
The shoes/accessories brand, Poppy Barley, has been on a radar for quite some time. The brand is a Certified B Corporation, placing ethics and sustainability at the forefront of what they do. And the owners are from my hometown of Edmonton, Alberta! This belt is currently on my wishlist in a beautiful neutral tone (called Biscotti and gold) – it’s in a classic style made of premium leather. It comes in several other colours/prints and I think it would make the perfect final touch to any outfit.
Sheertex Classic Sheer Rip-Resist Tights
$77 CAD
BF sale – 40% off, automatically applied
For ladies who love a good pair of long lasting tights! These were gifted to me from a previous collaboration, and I was shocked by how much force and pressure these can withstand. If you’re unfamiliar with this brand of tights, they’re made with a patent-pending technology that features one of the world’s strongest polymers. Not only that, due to the wide waistband, they are actually really comfortable. I always consider cost per wear when it comes to my wardrobe, and these definitely sit at the highest point of that spectrum when it comes to a pair of tights.
Free Label Becky Bra
$68 USD/$89 CAD
Easily a favourite new wardrobe addition. I’ve really come to appreciate comfortable + supportive bras, and the Becky Bra perfectly fits into this category (note: the Becky Bra is best for cups C-G; see other styles of bras here). No wires – just a beautifully made, reversible product meant to provide the utmost comfort. An added bonus is that their bras can actually pass as cropped tank tops – I’ve worn them as such under an open cardigan during the warmer months. I have the Becky Bra in black and umber, both kindly gifted from the brand. I wear size S (cup size 32C).
Free Label is a sustainable and ethical Canadian clothing brand that focuses on small batches and comfortable, quality garments. I absolutely love their Sunday Crop (pictured above in left photo), too!
Numi The Crop Undershirt
$60 USD/$60 CAD
BF sale – 20% off, automatically applied
Numi is another Canadian brand featuring consciously made products that help make life easier. I really love having these Numi undershirts in my wardrobe. They feature an absorbent underarm gusset, an invisible fit to sit seamlessly underneath your tops, and are machine washable. The cropped version of their undershirts are my favourite since no tucking is required (pictured above in the shade Almond). I normally wear mine underneath sweaters and button-up shirts, but they also work well underneath any other piece of clothing you’d like to protect from moisture and sweat. And they are most useful in reducing her dry cleaning bill if some of her tops require that. I wear size small.
Paper Label Dani Toque
$50 CAD
subscribe to their newsletter for 15% off your first order
Another Canadian clothing company that advocates for slow fashion. I was gifted this toque (aka beanie) and I don’t really leave home without it these days. It’s made of substantial 100% cotton so it’ll work perfectly even on the coldest of winter days. I like to wear mine with the logo at the back (as pictured above) and I just love that it has a chunky look. It also comes in a variety of colours!
Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse
$69.99 USD/$89.99 CAD
Probably my favourite work-from-home gadget. Since I’m at my desk for more than 8 hours a day, after so many years my right wrist started to hurt and I needed a solution. This mouse was a game changer! Its vertical ergonomic design allows for my forearm to lift in a natural position. It’s also much more affordable than some other designs or brands out there.
Bostitch Konnect Desk Organizer and Charging Station
$35.42 CAD
Another great addition to my work-from-home desk situation. Not only does it organize all of my necessities in one place (pens, post-its, floss picks, etc), it also has two built-in USB ports – one of which I plugged a phone charging cord into – and a phone stand. I’ve used this to make hands-free FaceTime calls and it’s so convenient!
Arrae Bloat Alchemy Supplements
$48 USD/$62 CAD
BF sale – up to 25% off, automatically applied
An all natural way to keep bloating at bay. These supplements are meant to reduce heartburn, speed food breakdown, and help prevent gas. They’re vegan and made of high quality herbs, minerals, and vitamins, all within a vegan shell. They have numerous 5 star reviews for a reason! As each year passes, I find I may actually need these for myself sooner than later. I bought this for a friend this year as a part of her birthday present since she complains about bloating all the time. And it’s confirmed, it really does work!
Able Kay Terrazzo Coaster Set
$50 USD/$67 CAD
BF sale – 35-40% off with code ITMATTERS
These beautiful coasters are on my wishlist – I think they’d look so great around my workspace since they match my neutral colour scheme so well. Okay I admit, this is more of an aesthetic one for me. Though coasters themselves are useful as they are meant to protect surfaces. Not only that, these ones are handmade and have received numerous 5 star reviews.
By purchasing from Able, you are supporting a brand that does so much good – providing thoughtfully designed and high quality pieces, while empowering women through fair wages.
Ugg Bliss Sherpa Throw for Home ($98 USD)
The coziest blanket there ever was. We have one of these in our living room and I can honestly say I cozy up in it every single day! Nothing beats the feeling of a plush sherpa and microfleece combo, while staying warm and comfy after a long day, in your favourite place in the world – home. It’s a cozy gal’s dream come true.
Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream ($64 USD/$85 CAD)
My holy grail eye cream. I’ve tried many, only to be disappointed by constant dry undereyes even after use. This one is a different story. The fine lines under my eyes have diminished and my undereyes are always moisturized. I use it day and night and I really can’t live without it! I gifted this to a friend this year and she loves it too.
Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour ($42 USD)
The name pretty much says it all – it’s an ultra hydrating lipstick. This was gifted to me by a lovely friend and I immediately fell in love with it as it glides on so smoothly, so much so that my lips never look chapped from its application. I’m not a big lipstick person, but this one I’ll gladly wear. It just feels so luxurious and provides a healthy pop of colour. I have it in the neutral shade “402 – Adrienne”.
Let me know which of these intentional gifts under $100 you’re eyeing – I’d love to know!
