During the November long weekend, I did an experiment: a weekend trip in a backpack – is it doable?
As simple as it sounds, it did require a bit of planning to execute, especially for someone who used to be a chronic overpacker. And I am so proud to say, I was fully successful. I’ve packed a week away in a carry-on suitcase so I knew this was more than possible. I’m all for more efficient systems and products that increase the enjoyment of life, so I’m super excited to share this week’s YouTube video. I go through why and how to pack minimally, some of the efficient travel products & organizers I love to use, along with the outfits I brought along with me on this weekend getaway. Plus, find all the details of “The Backpack” that I’ve officially tagged as the star of the video (and my short trips).
If you’re a constant overpacker who needs tips on how to pack more minimally, so ultimately you can just focus on enjoying that short getaway, then this video is for you. Check out the full YT video below!
Find links to most of the products mentioned in the video below, along with photos + details of all the outfits I wore during this weekend.
Some items showcased are PR products or were received as a part of a previous collaboration (labeled as c/o). As well, some links used in this post are affiliate links. My goal is to inspire you to get creative with what you already have and be intentional with adding quality pieces you’ll love for years to come. Thank you for supporting Her Simple Sole blog!
