Fact: I’m a bit obsessed with this romper.
I’ve finally discovered Asos’s petite collection, and I can’t help but say I’m having a bit of a panic attack. In a good way. In that I’ll actually be able to find midi/maxi dresses that compliment my height! So far I’ve really only purchased this romper, but I’m almost immediately sold on the brand 🙂
Yes, I’m short AF. Well, actually, I guess being short also comes with its perks. Like being able to cross my legs comfortably in an airplane seat.
Is it weird that that’s the only thing I can think of?
Not sure if that outweighs the fact that I’m constantly having to walk at a faster pace to keep up with Henry, that most pairs of jeans seem about twice the length of my legs, and that I can’t reach the highest shelf in the kitchen without having to dangerously climb onto the kitchen counter-top (having a tall roomie really helps in this case). Not to mention the impossibility of seeing the actual stage while standing in the back of the floor section of a concert.
So you can only imagine my excitement when I discovered Asos petite—styles for girls who are 5’3 and under! For reference I’m 5’1 and a half… let’s round that up to 5’2.
Anyway, back to the items that probably drew your attention over. This two-tone, single shoulder strap gingham romper, and this woven straw cross-body blue tassel bag. Two items that are just so so perfect for summer! The bag itself isn’t necessarily “petite friendly”, as you can see it hangs almost past my butt—but it’s just too cute not to love!
This romper will be on consistent rotation this summer… to even out my farmers tan (which is pretty apparent in these photos -____-) thanks to that one day I went out golfing in 30 degree weather 🙁 Whoops.
