80’s Inspired Look: Acid Wash & Belt Bag

80’s Inspired Look: Acid Wash & Belt Bag

Happy Hump Day and Happy first day of November!

Where has the time gone?! And why do I feel like I’m ALWAYS saying this? I just can’t believe it’s now time to shop for winter clothes and expect to see Christmas ad’s, decor, and all other things Xmas related in stores. 2017 has seriously come and gone faster than any other year, for me at least. Does anyone agree?

Acid Wash + Belt Bag

Another day, another casual look. This time it’s a look that’s giving some major 80’s vibes. It features an acid wash choker t-shirt, acid wash jeans, and a belt bag in replacement of a fanny pack. Completely unintentional, but I’m kind of loving the 80’s inspo! After all, I am an 80’s baby 😉

These jeans are specifically a petite style, and they hit right at my ankles (for reference, I’m just under 5’2″).  The high waist, the subtle acid wash, the comfort. They’re perfect in every way. I’ll apologize in advance as you’ll be seeing them A LOT on my blog & instafeed!

This choker tee was an affordable find from The Bay, and it comes in a petite version, too. I don’t usually mind over-sized tees, so I went with the regular fit (also because it was 40% off! Gotta love Bay Days). I love how the acid wash and “choker” gives this regular striped tshirt a bit more edge.

Lastly, this belt bag from Zara. It doesn’t hold much, but it’s perfect for when you’re on the go and only require a few cards, cash, lip chap, and your phone. It can also be used as a regular handbag as the straps are completely adjustable (as seen here). It’s an updated version of the fanny pack, and a lot more pleasing to the eye!

Lovely pictures and probably my favorite ’80s revival outfit I’ve ever seen. Love the boots and how the bag makes it more sophisticated!
